The Combination of Mesenchymal Stem Cells and Bovine Colostrum in Reducing α-SMA Expression and NLR Levels in Wistar Rats After 50% Fibrotic Liver Resection

Background: Liver fibrogenesis will produce α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) expression and a continuous inflammatory process, seen through the neutrophil lymphocyte ratio (NLR). The combination of mesenchymal stem cells bovine colostrum is novel strategy for repairing hepatic fibrosis tissue. To assess to reduce α-SMA NLR levels in Wistar rats after 50% fibrotic liver resection.
 Methods: Thirty-six male were randomly divided into 6 groups (sham, control, colostrum, MSCs, MSCs combination). Rats injected with CCl4 8 weeks induce then underwent resection. was determined using Hematology Analyzer, myofibroblast analyzed by immunofluorescence staining.
 Results: A significant reduction on day 3 treatment group I (1.10), II (0.83), III (0.93) compared control group. 10 (0.76), (0.64), (0.54) decrease (0.134), (0.68), (0.42) group.
 Conclusion: In this study, it found that expression, 3rd 10th administration reduced receiving post-resection 50%.
